Questions?
We're happy to help—feel free to contact us!-
Welcome to your Reformer Pilates journey!
We’re so glad you’re starting with us.
Before you begin, please take a moment to read through some frequently asked questions from our new clients.
I am a beginner. What would you recommend?
If you’ve never done Reformer Pilates before, it is mandatory to attend at least one Reformer Beginners class. This ensures both your safety and the quality of your experience in all future sessions.
Please note:
-
Intermediate and advanced classes do not include instructions on how to safely use the reformer.
-
We do not adjust the class level to suit beginners in those sessions — that’s what our Reformer Beginners classes are for.
-
For this reason, beginners are not permitted in intermediate or advanced classes.
Thank you for understanding — we can’t wait to support you as you begin your Pilates journey!
I’ve done a lot of mat Pilates classes. Can I skip the Reformer Beginners class?
No.
While mat Pilates is a great foundation, Reformer Pilates uses specialized equipment that requires specific instruction for safe and effective use.I’m very sporty and strong — I run, go to the gym, do yoga. Can I skip the Reformer Beginners class?
No.
Even if you're fit and active, Reformer Pilates is a unique practice with its own equipment, techniques, and safety requirements. Strength and fitness are helpful, but they don’t replace the need for proper instruction on how to use the reformer safely and effectively.I want to come with my friend, and she’s already your client. She explained everything to me — I’ll manage. Can I skip the Reformer Beginners class?
No.
Please understand — it’s not about whether you think you can “manage.” It’s about ensuring you receive essential instruction directly from a qualified teacher before joining more advanced classes.
It’s also about respect for our experienced clients. Some beginners do great from the start — others struggle, regardless of their fitness level. Either way, attending the Beginners class first ensures a smooth experience for everyone in the studio.
Please be respectful of our process and start with the Reformer Beginners class.
Thank you!Can I do an intermediate Reformer class if I am a beginner?
No — for two important reasons:
-
Your safety and learning experience
-
Respect for experienced clients
In the Reformer Beginners class, we explain how to use the reformer safely and correctly. We also do not emphasize the flow in this class. Instead, we move through the exercises more slowly and offer what beginners need most: time to experience the reformer safely, without stress or rushing.
Intermediate classes are different:
They are designed for clients who already know how to use the reformer and are ready to move at a faster pace. Stopping the flow to accommodate the needs of beginners can be disruptive to others.
One day, you’ll be one of the experienced clients, and you’ll appreciate a class that flows without interruption.
Please be mindful of the group and start with the appropriate level.
Thank you!How many Reformer Beginners classes do I need to take before going to Intermediate?
As many as you want. Most clients feel ready for Intermediate classes after their first Beginners class. However, some clients choose to stay in Beginners longer.
Please be aware that Intermediate classes are truly intermediate — we will not offer easier variations if you can’t cope with the pace. If you’re not sure, please ask your instructor after the class for advice.
We truly appreciate you choosing to begin your Pilates journey with us by starting with the Reformer Beginners class. Thank you!-
Classes are held either in English or German (the language is shown in the class name). Please book the class in the language you feel most comfortable with.
Our classes are not suitable during pregnancy. At the moment, we do not offer prenatal classes. We’re truly sorry that we can’t support you during this special time in your life.
Our classes are not suitable for new mums.
You’re welcome to join us a minimum of 6 months postpartum, and only once your diastasis recti has fully healed.
We understand that your doctor might clear you for exercise as early as 2 months postpartum — but that doesn’t mean your body is ready for regular abdominal workouts just yet.
When I had my baby, my belly felt like pudding — and that pudding was a universe of its own. There was no connection between my brain and my belly. And here’s the truth: you can’t just train that pudding away. Your body needs time — time for hormones to rebalance, and for healing to take place.
Anything before 6 months postpartum is still early. In this stage, what you need most is rest, sleep, gentle movement like walking, and lots of fresh air. Be kind to yourself. Recovery is not a race.
Even if your diastasis recti has healed, starting too soon with „normal“ abdominal exercise or exercising too intensely might cause it to return. We recommend avoiding the following until you’re fully ready:
-
Any “normal” abdominal exercises such as planks, crunches, sit-ups, and leg lifts
-
Running
-
Heavy lifting
Even though social media might encourage you to resume exercises as soon as possible, please keep in mind that arranging childcare—whether with your partner, a nanny, or someone else—can be tricky. They might be late, or your baby might cry and need you.
This could mean missing class and paying for a late cancellation, which is a stressful situation that’s all too real. Babies don’t follow schedules, and that’s completely normal.
You already have enough stress. What you really need right now is sleep, rest, fresh air, and no appointments to chase after.-
Our classes are suitable for healthy women only. We’re really sorry, but our instructors are not qualified to work with clients experiencing pain, injuries, or illnesses.
We use the booking platform Eversports. You can book your classes through our website, but we recommend using the Eversports app for Reformer and Eversports App for Cadillac because of its waitlist feature.
If a class is fully booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist. When a spot becomes available, all clients on the waitlist will receive a push notification. The spot goes to whoever books first.
Please note: you will only receive this notification if you have the Eversports app installed and push notifications enabled on your smartphone.Cancellation Policy & Instructions
Please note our 12-hour cancellation policy:
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the start of a class—regardless of the reason (including illness)—are non-refundable.How to Cancel a Class:
-
Log in to your Eversports account.
-
Go to My Bookings and select the class you wish to cancel.
-
Scroll down and click Delete.
⚠ Important: You must cancel the class yourself via Eversports.

-
If you cancel more than 12 hours before the class, the credit will automatically be returned to your Eversports account to use for a future booking.
If You Need to Cancel Late (Less than 12 Hours Before Class)
You have two options:
-
Do not attend the class. Please note that the full class fee will still apply, as this counts as a late cancellation.
-
Cancel your spot in Eversports anyway—even if it’s past the 12-hour window.
This allows clients on the waitlist to be notified and potentially take your spot.
If someone does book your cancelled spot, we’ll cancel the class free of charge.
📩 After cancelling late in Eversports, send us an email so we can check if your spot was taken and confirm if the fee can be waived.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!-
If a class is fully booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist. When a spot becomes available, all clients on the waitlist will receive a push notification. The spot goes to whoever books first.
This means you will not be automatically booked if a spot opens up—you will only receive a notification, and then you can decide whether to book the class or not.
Please note, you will only receive this notification if you:
-
have the Eversports app installed
-
and have push notifications enabled on your smartphone.
-
-
Comfortable workout clothes (no zippers)
-
Clean grip socks. If you don’t have grip socks, please bring clean regular socks. Socks are mandatory when feet are in straps.
-
A water bottle
-
A towel
-
A sweater during colder months, as we regularly open the windows before, during, and after class for fresh air.
-
Changing room and toilets available.
Showers:
• The Reformer studio (7th floor) does not have showers.
• The Cadillac studio (4th floor) has one shower available.
Lockers:
• Lockers are provided in the Reformer studio (7th floor).
• There are no lockers available in the Cadillac studio (4th floor).Babies and small children are not allowed in the class. It is in a baby’s nature to cry, and in a small child’s nature to move around, approach their mother, and seek attention by talking to her. While completely understandable, this can be disruptive to other clients and the overall atmosphere of the class.
School-age children who are able to sit quietly for the entire 50 minutes may attend, but only if you inform us at least 2 days in advance (Monday to Friday).
This helps ensure we do not exceed the limit of 2 children per class and that we see your message in time.
Please note:
As this is a women-only studio, bringing boys can be sensitive due to the shared changing room facilities. Please contact us in advance so we can assess whether it’s possible. As much as we love animals, dogs and other pets are not allowed in the studio.
